Cambridge CELTA Course

The Cambridge CELTA course prepares you to start teaching English to adults anywhere in the world. This is the initial teaching qualification for working in the best language schools anywhere in the world.

If you want to work in English Language Teaching either in Britain or abroad, the Cambridge ESOL CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) is one of the most widely recognized qualifications in the English language teaching (TEFL) world, and certainly one of the most well-established.

After just four weeks of intensive training, you’re ready to:

  • apply for vacancies around the globe
  • work in one of the most rewarding jobs on the planet
  • make friends with people who might not normally cross your path
  • travel to your heart’s content

100% pass rate

LTC Brighton has been a centre for the CELTA programme for over 20 years. We currently offer the programme on a four-week, full-time, basis, six times every year. Our CELTA pass rate is 100%  for those who complete the course and we have an excellent reputation locally.

Over the years, we have trained well over 1,200 people to teach English. Many of these have gone on to work in far-flung corners of the globe, as well as in Britain.

Study with us and you’re ready to start teaching

One of the most appealing aspects of the course is that it’s designed for both native and non-native speakers of English with little or no teaching experience. Therefore, if you’re a complete newcomer, the CELTA will get you to the right level so that you’re ready to confidently teach English as a foreign language.

The LTC Brighton CELTA is an extremely practical introduction to the theory and methodology of teaching the English language. In addition to in-depth training with experienced English language teachers, you’ll also spend time in the classroom gaining hands-on teaching experience.

We also offer advice on everything from initial funding for the course to how to find a job once you have qualified.

For advice and guidance, please contact the programme manager, Vicky Constanti, on 01273 735975 or e-mail: celta@ltc-brighton.com
