If you want to work in English Language Teaching either in Britain or abroad, the Cambridge ESOL CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) is one of the most widely recognized ELT (TEFL) qualifications in the world, and the most well-established. It is, for example, the minimum standard for teaching in British Council schools around the world and the JET programme in Japan.
LTC Brighton has been a centre for the CELTA programme for over 20 years. We currently offer the programme on a four week, full-time basis six times per year.
With a pass rate of 100% for students completing the course over a number of years the programme has a very good reputation locally. We have trained well over 1000 people to teach English.
The course is designed for native and non-native speakers of English with little or no experience of ELT. It is an extremely practical introduction to the theory and methodology of English Language Teaching. We also offer advice on everything from initial funding for the course to how to find a job once you have qualified.
For advice and guidance, please contact the programme manager, Vicky Constanti, on 01273 735975 or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org

3) If the interview is successful, we will offer you a place on the programme.
4) If you want to accept our offer and attend the course, please pay a £150 deposit.
Enrolment process and conditions:
If, after the interview, you are accepted on the course, you need to pay a deposit of £150 to secure your place. We ask you to pay this within seven days of receiving the offer letter in order to help us organise the courses.
On receipt of the deposit we will send you a comprehensive self-study task and reading list to help you prepare further. The full balance of fees should be paid no later than three weeks before the course begins. Failure to make payments by the due time can result in the place being given to another applicant.
