Student Services
We’ve been a language school for 25 years, so we have a lot of experience in helping all kinds of students. Our staff will know what to do to help you during your stay at LTC and in the fantastic city of London.
Before Arriving
You can contact our staff to get more information about LTC London courses, accommodation and prices. We also have a detailed student information website which you can access as soon as you book. It gives all the information about Ealing and London. Our detailed Google Map gives more information about our location and the area around the school – http://bit.ly/ltc-l-map
Airport Transfer
Because of its location, Ealing is very easy to get to and from.
From London Heathrow Airport : about 20-25 minutes to Ealing by taxi. You can also take the Piccadilly Line (about 25 minutes) or the Heathrow Connect (about 15 minutes).
From London Gatwick Airport : about an hour by train, tube and of taxi.
From London Luton or Stansted : about one and half hours by taxi or about 2 and a half hours by train and then tube.
Transfers by taxi can be arranged by school, please see our Prices page for more detail.
During Your Time at School
We’ll give you a student handbook and a map when you arrive and you will be orientated to the school and local area on your first day before lessons start. There is a wide range of information available in the school.
Student ID card
This should be carried at all times in case of emergency. It is also useful to get discounts for entrance at some tourist attractions.
Communication
We provide student fax facilities from the school office. Don’t forget we also provide free Internet and WIFI. There are many local internet cafes and shops who sell international phone cards to phone your family and friends.
Letters and document
We can provide official letters and documents to help you if you want to open a bank account, find a job, or rent your own accommodation.
Health
If you are unlucky, you might feel ill. We can tell you how to register with a doctor, give you advice on payment, help you claim on your insurance. We can also help you get student insurance if you do not have it.
