Services at LTC Brighton

We’ve been a language school for over 40 years, so we have a lot of experience in helping all kinds of students. We offer a wide range of services for our students and our aim is to make your stay here as easy and enjoyable as possible.

At LTC Brighton we offer a wide range of services for our students – to make life as easy as possible.

Airport transfer
Brighton has excellent links to London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports.

Heathrow is 1.5 hours away by taxi and 2 hours by direct coach. Gatwick is 30 minutes by taxi, 40 by direct coach, and 25 minutes by direct train. You can also travel directly by train from Luton Airport. Travel to/from Stansted airport is possible but you have to transfer in London by taxi or underground.

We can arrange a taxi transfer from the airport for you using an experienced airport taxi company. Please see our fees page for more information.

Letters and Documents
The school office can help with any kind of advice and documents. These could be confirmation letter, letters to help you open a bank account, to get a part-time job, for tax in the UK, or for renewing or changing your visa. Our school office has lots of experience.

International Phone Cards
We sell international phone cards for use on the school’s payphone or your host family’s phone.

Bus Passes
We sell bus passes for the city bus network – you can buy one week, one month or three month tickets which will save you money.

Advice on Further studies in the UK
Both our Assistant Director of Studies and Principal have years of experience in advising students on study at a UK College or University. We offer free and impartial advice and information.

Travel advice
We can also offer you advice on travelling around the UK and Europe and we have a detailed student information website offering you lots of advice and information.

Job/Working advice
If you are from an EU country, then you may be able to find a job in the UK. The school can offer advices on how to find a job, and about issues such as pay and tax.

Health Advice
We can help you register with a doctor, or make an appointment for you. We also publish advice on health and safety in the UK.
